Campaign for a Full-Time Receptionist at Leicester Royal Infirmary

Posted on December 14th, 2017 in Local News

A campaign has been launched to ensure a full time receptionist is on duty at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. More and more services are being cut and this puts the efficiency and security of the hospital, the patients, visitors and all who work at the hospital at potential risk.

Keith Vaz MP contacted the Chair of the Hospital Board and was informed that the cover of receptionists was similar to other hospitals and that increased and improved signage was suitable to cover this loss. It took the Chair two months to respond with a letter to which Keith Vaz has stated ‘it took them two months to tell me absolutely nothing. The LRI should have a full-time receptionist’.

The link to the petition is below, please sign and tell your family and friends. It is key that this change is implemented.
