Hamilton Residents Meeting

Posted on July 29th, 2014 in Local News

Keith attended a Public Meeting of the Hamilton Residents to discuss the planning application submitted by Tesco Store for a Family Pub, a Restaurant and a drive-through fast food outlet.  In attendance were Local Ward Councillors, Patel, Snadhu and Potter, Head of Planning from Leicester City Council and representatives from Tesco.

Concerns were raised by the residents that Tesco has not delivered on their promise to provide a community facility when the original application for the Store was made.   They are concerned that the new development proposed will encourage more traffic, litter and anti-social behaviour which would be detrimental to lives of the local community.
