Keith and members of the Home Affairs Select Committee have visited Luton Airport to observe immigration and passport control as part of their continuing inquiry into the work of the immigration system. The visit took place on the morning of the 1st January 2014, coinciding with the ending of transitional migration controls with Romania and Bulgaria.

At the airport, Committee members including Keith and Mark Reckless, met with airport staff and immigration officials to observe any changes made in the light of the ending of the controls.

Keith wrote an article for the Leicester Mercury about the visit, which you can read here: http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/time-turn-backs-EU-integration/story-20383989-detail/story.html
