On Friday local residents, councillors and representatives from Sainsbury’s met to discuss the development of the site in Rushey Mead.

At the meeting, organised by Keith, residents voiced their frustration about noise from night-time construction work. It was agreed that starting Thursday 31st October 2013 all noisy works would be completed by 8pm. Sainsbury’s made a commitment that all work will be completed by Thursday 14th November 2013.

Another public meeting will be held at the Indigo Restaurant (432 Melton Road) at 5pm on Friday 1st November 2013  to discuss the issue further.

Below is a letter from Sainsbury’s sent out to local residents on the 29th October 2013 outlining the changes.
