Posted on October 19th, 2012 in Breaking News

Keith is set to recreate a cycle ride he undertook decades ago to raise money for more local youth facilities in his constituency.

At a launch event, attended by a number of local people, Keith announced his intention to cycle around the Thurnby Lodge estate to raise money for the Boyzee club, the Thurnby Lodge Community Centre and for use of the facilities at the Scout Hut.

Keith has a long established tradition of riding bicycles to highlight issues. In 1988 he got on his bike to raise awareness about issues facing pensioners in support of Age Concern.

He has set 12 noon on Saturday 24th November as the date for the ride. Other riders are encourage to participate and will be asked to donate £5 or £10 to the Thurnby Lodge Community Centre. All those participating will automatically be entered into a draw where the winner will be given a bicycle.

Please make all donations to the  Thurnby Lodge Community Forum.
