Dozens of pedaling youngsters accompanied Keith as he took part in a sponsored cycle to raise money for facilities in Thurnby Lodge.
In 1988 Keith took part in a similar ride to raise money, an event he recreated on Saturday. The event raised more than £2,000 which will be given to the Thurnby Lodge Community Forum to improve facilities for young people in the area.
Keith said: “It was going to be a solo effort, but we had about 25 people cycling in the end which was brilliant.
“We cycled all around the estate and people were coming out of their homes to cheer as we passed.
“We raised quite an amazing amount given that we only started organising this six weeks ago.”
