Living wage Statistics for Leicester East

New figures form the Living Wage Foundation show that in Leicester East, 45.1% of workers, which equates to 10000 people in total, earn less than the real Living Wage.  According to the Living Wage Foundation the real living wage is the amount people need to receive in order to live. Across the UK, the real Living Wage is £8.75. 

Across the East Midlands, the figure below the real Living Wage is figure is 25.6%, a total of 466000 people.
