Keith campaigned recently with Ken Livingstone the Labour candidate for Mayor of London. The elections are due to take place on the 3rd May 2012.

Keith recently attended the Bernie Grant Memorial Lecture “Policing Matters” – The Road to Recovery after the Riots. After the lecture, Keith chaired a debate on the recovery of communities affected by the riots in August 2011.
Keith cut the ribbon today for the official opening of the State Bank of India on Horsefair Street, Leicester.
Keith gave a lecture to Hertfordshire University students today on the role of a backbencher in opposition.
Keith recently met with members of the Leicestershire Asian Business Association (LABA) to discuss partnerships with business owners in Leicester East. Keith was presented with an honorary membership of LABA.

Keith visited St Patricks Catholic Primary School on Harrison Road today to hand out prizes in the story writing competition. There were 30 winners across the school who recieved book vouchers and House of Commons booklets.
